Halwa

Halva or Halwa(h) or Helva is a Turkish confectionery specialty that is also very well known in India, Iran, Pakistan and Central Asia, Near East, Southeast, Central and Eastern Europe.

Although the ingredients differ from region to region, the basic mixture generally consists of a puree of oil seeds and honey, sugar or glucose syrup.
