Harvest: The hazelnut harvest begins in early autumn, around mid-September.

Cultivation: The hazelnut usually grows as a multi-stemmed, upright shrub five to six meters high. The main hazelnut growing areas today are the Mediterranean countries (Italy, Spain, France), Turkey and the USA.
